Usually modern games are developed in C++, Flash, Java, Unity or anything like that. But not WANG! What A Nasty Game. I develop my game with GameMaker.
GameMaker is a tool from Mark Overmars, published by YoYoGames. If you take a look at GameMaker, you’ll see it’s very simple.
Beginners could develop their first game within hours and share it easily and for free on the YoYoGames-community-website.
If you are an skilled programmer you have also fun with the GameMaker, because it has the possibility to use complex scripts and plugins. So, feel free and code clones of Super Mario, Metal Slug or Doom. Meanwhile I will finish my simple, but nasty game: WANG!

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
